Gnapster is a "napster" client; Napster is a networking protocol used to transfer files, often audio files such as MP3s. Gnapster appears in the "Networking" section of the menus once installed.

Note: Sharing musical files created from commercial CDs is illegal in most countries and is not endorsed or promoted by MandrakeSoft; these pages merely demonstrate how Gnapster is often used within the MP3 community.

Gnapster is not included on the Installation CDs but can be downloaded from locations such ftp.rpmfind.net.
